Little Treasures Day Nursery


At Little Treasures Day Nursery we offer the following funding types:

Early Years Entitlement (EYE) for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

All children are entitled to 15 hours free Early Years Entitlement the term beginning after their third birthday, until the end of the funding period in which they celebrate their 5th birthday.

Standard Offer - If you claim the 13 to 15 hours funding per week then this entitlement is for 38 weeks per year and during term time only. You will be responsible for paying all nursery fees during the holidays. We do not offer term time only places.

Stretched Offer - If you claim 12 hours or less per week then this entitlement is for 47.5 weeks per year and you pay for the additional 4.5 weeks.  We do not offer term time only places.

30 hour funding
How will we offer the 30 hours funding at Little Treasures?

At Little Treasures Day Nursery we will only be offering the 30 hours funding in the following ways:

  1. 3 x 8am- 6pm (30 hours) funded for 38 weeks and you pay school holidays and meal charges (breakfast, dinner and tea)
  2. 3 x 9am-5pm (24 hours) funded for 47.5 weeks and you pay for 4.5 weeks and meal charges (dinner and tea)
  3. 3 x 8am to 4pm (24 hours) funded for 47.5 weeks and you pay for 4.5 weeks and meal charges (breakfast and dinner)
How do you claim for the funding?
The nursery will receive all the relevant forms for you to complete and a member of staff will assist you in completing them. You will be asked to sign a declaration form and parent contract and you must keep us informed of any changes.

Funding Codes
You will need a 6 digit funding code to claim your 2 year funding entitlement.
You will need an 11 number code beginning with 500 to claim your 30 hour funding.
NO code is needed for 3 and 4 year olds funding as this is staturory.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
For children who are eligible for Early Years pupil premium they will be granted an extra 53p an hour for their universal funding hours.  This money is used by the nursery to show benefits towards the childrens learning and development. This can be spent through: extra staffing, staff training and resources, equipment in the room, enhancing the provision, new projects and experiences, home link resources and hot meals.

Deprivation Funding
The nursery may receive extra funding for 3 and 4 year old children living in deprived areas.  This money is used to support these children and may be used on the following: art resources, staff training, extra staff support, snack, outings, clubs, outdoor resources, being healthy, learning resources.  This list is not exhaustive.
